Qualifications: * 4-7 years of progressive experience in a PR/Marketing environment * Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field * Ability to maintain productive relationships with clients, co-workers and vendor partners * Proven Track record of innovation and creative thinking * Proven experience managing successful high-profile projects that involve multiple business functions * Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with key social media audiences, i.e. bloggers, influencers, online media * Knowledge of the faith and faith community * Well-organized and excellent time management abilities * Strong oral and written communication skills * Passion for the arts * Knowledge of emerging media trends and technology * Must be willing to provide samples of previous social media campaign work if requested * Occasional travel to the central coast during the summer months (festival time) TBN
Description:
Social Media and Communications Manager The Social Media Manager will handle all social media for a fast growing faith based Non-Profit organization. Entertainment background in Faith and Family genre is a plus. You will also be asked to help create campaigns and structure for other arms of the company in several different areas of the main umbrella company such as Agriculture, government, music festivals to name a few. We are looking to you to provide social media trends and insights. * Develop, implement and maintain an effective social media moderation plan/strategy across all companies as needed. * Unfolding emerging opportunities as they come to light in this market. * Develop Media List and some journalist outreach. PR background or knowledge can be helpful but not mandatory. * Play leadership role in working with departments across the entire company on their social media community initiatives * Develop and maintain relationships with key bloggers and other influencers in social
media. * Performs other duties as required by the role to assist in team efforts. * Coordinates and develops content for the company's social media channels * will work closely with charitable programs and initiatives. * Keep updated/current lists of those influencers across multiple categories as we grow. * Monitor/track/interpret/leverage all social media trends * Analyze/interpret results and actively ''listen'' to the social media community, regularly report on findings, and perform ongoing reporting including social media analysis and development of post-campaign reports *Help to create social media campaigns and update current websites with information as needed. * Perform other duties as assigned.
