Sports PR Jobs
Sports PR officer uses all forms of media and communication to build, maintain, and manage the reputation of sports organizations ranging from sports agencies, sports training institutions, and sports retailers. The primary task of the sports PR officer is to build on the reputation of the sports agency or sports training institute or the products marketed by the retailer and its quality. Sports PR aims to manage reputation in order to gain understanding and support, and influence opinion and behavior. Most sports organizations and committees rely on the sports PR professionals to garner enough PR publicity to increase revenue and backing for the game. Sports PR officers also supervise the working of the stores and provide suggestions to the management to enhance the overall sales impact. They also design hoardings and billboards and rely on outdoor advertising for the purpose of promotion of sportspersons and their records.
The job candidate should be a graduate in PR, media or advertising and should have ample experience and knowledge of the sports market and the overall sports world. The candidate should have at least 3-4 years of experience in the sports sector or the PR sector.
