Project Assistant for the Communications department at our Administration Office in
  Irvine, California
. This is an outstanding opportunity for a professional individual to join a growing organization.
SUMMARY:
The Project Assistant, Communications assists with providing a wide-variety of highly responsible and complex administrative support services in accordance with the mission and purpose of the organization. Such responsibilities include:
Assisting with and develop content (writing, videography, photography, editing, and design) to be used in a variety of internal and external communications.
Assisting Communications team with social media tasks including but not limited to: community management for multiple school platforms, daily outreach (Liking relevant hashtags, interacting with users appropriately) and assisting with analytic data pull and content scheduling.
Filming, editing and taking photos at events (onsite & offsite)
Assisting Communications team with multiple writing projects. Strong writing skills preferred.
Utilizing project management system for tracking various projects.
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Bachelor degree in communications, journalism, business administration, business management, project management, or related area preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 1 year of related work experience required in
communications, preferably including some support work for one or more managers in an academic or business office environment.
Minimum of 2 years of experience f
ilming, video editing and photography 
Ability to demonstrate professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to self-direct, self-pace, multi-task and function well under pressure of deadlines and conflicting priorities.
Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
