The Social Media Manager will manage social mediaactivity across all social platforms. The ideal candidate is a
highly motivated, savvy individual with experience and passion for
connecting with both our current and future curl community. That
passion comes through as you engage with our community on a daily
basis, organically turning fans into customers. This candidate will
have a dynamic personality, an optimistic point of view, a passion
for people and the ability to find solutions to any problem. Your
attention to detail will ensure everything moves seamlessly as you
work hard and have fun while making history with the Deva team. The
Social Media Manager will report to our Director of Communications.
Essential Functions:Lead and project manage all social media
activity. Develop monthly action plans to achieve\/surpass goals.
Lead the planning and execution of a social media content calendar
to support brand and growth objectives. Promote content through
social advertising. Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal and
qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising Social
Media Content Strategy and Social Advertising Campaigns. Cross
collaborate with Digital for marketing integration on innovation
and promotions. Cross collaborate with Marketing on retail
partnerships with key accounts. Monitor trends in Social Media
tools, applications, channels, design and strategy. Key Skills
Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media
platforms, their respective participants and how each platform can
be deployed in different scenarios. Exhibits the ability to jump
from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side with the
ability to demonstrate why your ideas are analytically sound.
Demonstrates strong analysis and problem-solving skills. Maintains
a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research
and Google Analytics. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of
Search and Social. Excels in community leadership (both online
& offline) of the DevaCurl brand in a positive, authentic way.
Team player with the ability to collaborate and work
cross-functionally in order to deliver the best outcomes.
Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media.
Excellent time management and organization skills. Strong
communication skills (both written and verbal). Agile and flexible
with regards to changing priorities and business. Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Marketing Communications preferred Must have 5
years experience in Social Media Strategy Knowledge and experience
in the tenets of traditional marketing. Experience sourcing and
managing content development and publishing. Previous experiencing
managing direct reports preferred. Strong project management
skills. Excited to embrace and help drive social experience. Must
have an innate passion for the Beauty Industry with an
understanding of the curl universe. Knowledge of competitive
landscape in curls preferred.
