Events & Sponsorships Lead | Senior Consultant | Deloitte Digital Deloitte's full-service Marketing organization is seeking a strategic events and sponsorships lead to support the Deloitte Digital business. The ideal candidate must be able to successfully pitch, negotiate and manage contracts for potential and existing strategic partnerships and run the activations. What you'll do (Responsibilities)
The Deloitte Digital Events & Sponsorships lead will work with the Deloitte Digital CMO and broader Deloitte Digital marketing and communications team to prioritize events and sponsorship opportunities against both short- and long-term objectives and content priorities. In this role, your responsibilities will include the following:
Serve as a strategic events advisor to leadership, business, marketing, communications, and other key stakeholders across Deloitte Digital, sharing insight into key events / sponsorships and the opportunities they present to our business
Proactively identify and vet opportunities based on business and marketing strategy, and establish consistent criteria for event evaluations that applies rigor to decision-making; maintain a constant pulse on the events industry closely to monitor for trends, competitive intelligence, or inspiration to empower our events investments and presence
Write and organize key event submissions working with our internal teams and external vendors to develop content, case studies and speaker applications; create, develop, and amplify customer stories on behalf of Deloitte Digital in partnership with head of external communications and marketing team
Apply depth in events strategy, messaging, spokesperson applications and ROI to oversee and manage a wide range of physical and virtual events, conferences, and special projects; interface closely with marketing and communications leadership to ensure consistency of messaging and presence
Develop and deepen relationships with key events organizers to unlock opportunities
Manage marketing and event planning budget and develop metrics to assess the effectiveness and impact of activities on portfolio growth
Contribute to and adopt insights-driven standards for events / sponsorships that champion measurement, collaboration and continuous growth
Apply sponsorship knowledge and skills to sponsored writing or content packages as needed.

Qualifications
Required:
5-7 years of and events and sponsorship management experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience)
Experience working within a creative agency, B2B professional services or equivalent experience building innovative, leading consumer brands
Superior Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
Preferred:
Strong social media skills and experience as it relates to professional and executive brand building
Deep network of leaders and coordinators within our targeted events / sponsorship landscape
Proven success in developing and executing external communications strategies and communications plans for a large B2B business, preferably in professional services
Strong executive presence and the ability to confidently provide strategic counsel, ask good questions, challenge the status quo, suggest alternatives, and articulate pros and cons to senior business leaders
Team-oriented approach, with ability to take initiative, prioritize and simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while meeting expectations and deadlines
Strong project management skills, with attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
Outstanding interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $89,000 to $163,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
