Writes compelling content for finalist and capabilities presentations and executive summaries to sell and retain clients in National Accounts, Middle Market, Public and Labor and Specialty business segments. Content effectively positions Aetnas competitive strengths based on in-depth knowledge of company products and services, competitive landscape, industry, audience, and overall business environment and objectives. Develops content for Commercial business value story including story position and product modules. Creates additional high visibility content as requested. Ensures content meets Aetna brand standards and value story requirements.
Writes, edits and produces persuasive, compelling and timely on-target content for a variety finalist and capabilities presentations and executive summaries to sell and retain clients in National Accounts, Middle Market, Public and Labor and Specialty business segments. Also develops content for commercial business value story theming, positioning and product modules as well as content for web and other media as requested. Builds and maintains solid relationships with key resource experts at all levels of the company. Proactively collaborates and consults with internal customers to understand their needs and challenges to create content, strategies and programs that effectively and creatively meet audience needs. Coordinates department projects, including, but not limited to, leading input sessions,content development and strategic communications for key audiences and programs. Collaborates with account managers, graphic designers and other writers on a daily basis to ensure work is creative, accurate and deadlines are met. Performs other duties as required.
Bachelor degree in Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing Communications, Journalism or equivalent preferred.Previous (5-7 years) experience in professional writing in an advertising or marketing communications environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Collaborative mindset. Creative, strategic thinker able to move quickly and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong project management experience. Demonstrated PC literacy, knowledge of e-commerce. Experience in health care preferred but not necessary.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
