As our Internal Communications Leader, you will support in monitoring, seeding and enhancing the global growth and use of our Internal Communications platform and Social Networking site by leveraging your creative, writing and relationships-building expertise. This role requires communicating to different locations and groups of people around the world. Therefore, persuasive writing and excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interpret and tailor communications to different groups of people and cultures is essential.
Manage the country communication interests in the US from a Corporate perspective (Change Communications, Crisis Communications, Corporate Publishing, media requests on a Corporate level, Employer Branding, internal communication channels like intranet and employee newspaper as well as external communication such as media relations, media requests, interviews etc. from a Corporate perspective)
Develop strategic communication concepts for the largest market of the Dentsply Sirona Group – the US – and select suitable communication tools for the Internal and External Communication channels
Manage communication activities for all the US sites following the post-merger integration process
Prepare, organize and conduct media events such as press conference, media receptions etc and act as point of contact for press requests (except trade media)
Provide consulting and briefing to representatives of the company regarding communication activities, e.g. spokesmen, Senior Leaders, Sales personnel etc.
Create Internal Communication media e.g. employee magazine, newsletters, presentations, talking points as well as press releases
Develop and maintain the intranet platform for the US market
Contribute to the annual CSR report of the Company
Act as an interface to and cooperate closely with e.g. the Management Team, Human Resources teams and other functional departments
Close collaboration with Corporate Communications colleagues located in Salzburg (Austria) and Bensheim (Germany)
Reporting line to the Director Corporate Communication and Public Relations in Europe
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Management or PR
High level of expertise with focus on Internal Communication and Media Relations gathered within complex and dynamic business environments or large agencies; internal communication experience required, external communication experience preferred
Experienced in handling external providers and media
High degree of capacity to capture all elements of PR and Communications
Strong communication skills and high degree of diplomacy in cooperation with internal stakeholders
Assertive, pragmatic and solution-driven
Command of any further language of advantage
