Position Summary:

Deloitte is seeking a passionate Communications Specialist to join our US Talent Communications team. Working closely with the Talent Communications leader and Office of the Chief Talent Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the execution of innovative internal and external communications strategies, plans, and deliverables that drive awareness, adoption, employee engagement, and reflect our inclusive culture and exceptional Talent Experience.
Work You'll Do:
Write and edit timely internal and external communications in support of Talent strategic priorities (e.g., leadership messages, social media posts, news stories, articles, videos, surveys, talking points, FAQs, webcast content, intranet sites)
Work with internal stakeholders and Talent Communications team colleagues to implement communications plans, processes, and content to drive key aspects of the Talent strategy
Source, edit, and distribute two monthly newsletters; manage distribution lists
Manage all aspects of preparation and follow-up for monthly Talent All Hands webcasts, including: creating webinar, finalizing panelists, preparing polling questions, moderating Q&A, posting recording, and sending recap
Employ strong project management skills (initiating, planning, executing, managing, and closing projects to achieve plan objectives) across deliverables
Qualifications required:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, English, Journalism, or a related area
Minimum 2-3 years' experience working in Communications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong writing and editing skills and previous writing/editing experience in internal communications, public relations, marketing, or journalism field
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
Strong project management skills, including attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Knowledge of best practices in corporate and external communications, including effective social media campaigns
Experience working collaboratively in a virtual environment with team members across multiple offices/locations
Commitment to maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times when dealing with sensitive or proprietary information
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, social media channels, and PoliteMail or other employee engagement measurement tools preferred
Travel up to 10% (while travel of up to 10% is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
