We are looking for an intellectually curious, entrepreneurial person possessing gravitas to join this team as an Internal Communications Professional.
In this role, you will be part of a nimble team that produces employee communications in support of our GTS business unit. You will drive real impact to the business while contributing to how we think about, plan, and create impactful experiences to our most important assets – our fellow IBMers!
As a dedicated partner your responsibilities will include:
Writing, editing, and collaborating on communications for a large-scale business unit, including speeches, blog posts, video scripts, etc..
Engaging with and advising senior executives, helping them more effectively communicate across their teams in tune with their leadership style.
Collaborating closely with global teammates and internal partners across functions (PR, HR, Legal, Operations, etc.) in order to provide consistent communications to employees around the globe such as team changes or executive visits.
Measure and analyze communications efforts for their effectiveness against stated goals.

This role can be located in Armonk, NY (HQ) OR New York City, NY.
Applicants must have the ability to work in the US without current/future need for IBM sponsorship.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Ability to work well with senior executives.
Strong writing skills and the ability to tell a story in simple terms.
Basic video editing & recording skills.
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
Knowledge of IBM mail tools (such as Silverpop).
An eye for good design.
Working knowledge of graphic communication tools (e.g. Powerpoint, Adobe CS).
Degrees in Communications, Journalism or Graphic Design.
