The Digital Media Specialist
manages activation, monitoring and measurement of approved plans. You will be responsible for developing media recommendations and having a hands-on approach with the planning and buying for both site direct, programmatic, and DR campaigns. This includes completing RFPs, using syndicated research to build audience targeting, and developing the digital media recommendation portion of the plan. The specialist will also help manage media partner relationships and effectively conduct negotiations on rates, added value, positioning, and make-goods.

What you’ll be doing:
Manage the day-to-day implementation, optimization, and performance of campaign activities including authorizations, budgets, and the reconciliation process
Monitor media performance to confirm original objectives and strategies were met
Update Supervisor and client team on status of all ongoing client projects
Handle any client requests – i.e. plan changes, budget changes, provide marketplace information
Analyze and provide clients with research data as well as strategic analysis of campaigns
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, publishers
Creates and presents strategic digital media recommendations to internal staff
Provide recommendations to improve media performance
Mentor Associates and provide opportunities for continued growth and advancement
Qualifications:
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
If your degree is in marketing, advertising, communications, or consumer insights related field, that’s a plus
Work Experience:
1-2 years of related work experience specifically in digital planning or DR
Cross-channel planning experience with a focus on Digital
Digital media buying experience is essential
Knowledge of all aspects of Digital Media, including search, programmatic, social, mobile, that’s a plus
Skills:
Strong written, verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong quantitative and analytical skills – you can detect and translate a story behind numbers/data
Ability to effectively multi-task competing priorities and projects through time management and organization
Ability to work effectively cross functionally and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and other various outside partners
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
