Responsibilities
Overall Responsibilities:
 
As a member of Public Consulting Group's Marketing Department, reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Communications Specialist will work with our corporate creative services, and conference planning team, supporting the planning, development, and implementation of Public Consulting Group's marketing communications efforts. These efforts include working with internal clients to create materials such as brochures and sales collateral, e-mail marketing communications, newsletters, conference ads and collateral, social media, public relations, and more. We seek a solid, versatile communicator with 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally with an interest in government, health and human services, and/or K-12 education, to join our team.
 
Specific Responsibilities:

Create print and electronic marketing materials and company literature.
Copy, edit, proofread, and revise communications.
Work with consulting and operations staffs to develop marketing messages and strategies.
Assist in management of the firm's social media channels.
Manage firm-wide marketing statistics.
Research relevant topics in the development of marketing materials.
Promote the firm through public relations initiatives.

Qualifications
Required Skills:

Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, and personal sales skills.
Computer literacy in word processing and Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines.

Required Experience:

Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, public relations preferred.
3 years relevant experience
