Job Summary The Associate II\/Content Developer position is responsible for helping with the strategic development and execution of System-wide advertising, marketing and brand initiatives both internally and externally, with specific targeted emphasis on Atrium Health\u2019s strategic goals and priorities. The content developer is responsible for writing copy for a variety of online and offline marketing and communications channels, including print, web and out of home. The position is responsible for researching, writing, editing and proofing copy that is on strategy and reflects brand guidelines and personality. The content developer must be able to master and employ a diverse range of writing styles, including copywriting, storytelling and technical writing; and must have the ability to effectively tailor content for a variety of audiences, including general consumers, physicians, patients and employees. The position requires both a high level of attention to detail and a big-picture perspective, as well as exceptional skills in project and deadline management, client service and interpersonal communication. Essential Functions Serves as a representative for Atrium Health and for the Corporate Communications, Marketing & Outreach team, helping coordinate and execute System-wide initiatives and providing excellent customer service in all interactions. In collaboration with the Manager(s) and other department leadership, helps to develop strategic annual plans and programs that effectively integrate with Corporate Communications, Marketing & Outreach strategies and that are measurable in design and execution. Interfaces with departments across the organization, with senior staff and with other critical functions staff as needed and as appropriate on issues and matters related to the goals and priorities of the organization. Continually demonstrates a team player attitude and a positive approach to maintain collaboration across all work units within the department. Helps enforce and manage the organization\u2019s brand identity and adheres to brand guidelines. Develops and executes strategic plans and initiatives for the System for multiple channels, including print, digital and out of home. Assists with the implementation of initiatives to increase the System's overall presence on a national and international scale. Must be able to effectively influence and communicate with others in Corporate Communications, Marketing and Outreach. Must establish and maintain a strong working relationship with employees in partner departments, including Human Resources and Facilities Management. Proactively builds relationships and develops collaborative efforts with key internal and external audiences to further key marketing, brand and communications priorities. Represents Atrium Health in a professional manner at internal and external functions. Routinely integrates with other Corporate Communications, Marketing and Outreach teams to ensure that corporate messages and creative concepts are communicated and portrayed as intended. Physical Requirements Works primarily in office environment. Occasional evening and weekend work. Position requires walking around campus and\/or other facilities. Must be able to drive and have access\/use of a personal vehicle. Requires reading materials, speaking clearly on the telephone, and operating computer keyboard. Occasional lifting of documents or supplies. Educational Experience Bachelor's degree in a related field such as public relations, communications, journalism or business required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience required. Must be able to work quickly under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once. Excellent written and verbal skills required. Ability to set clear goals and execute projects from start to finish.
