Brand and Content Strategy Summary:  The Brand and Content Strategy group is responsible for managing the external facing brand of Goldman Sachs and creating content that explains our businesses, the work we do for clients, and sharing insights on key trends and themes shaping the global economy. We create content that is distributed across goldmansachs.com, social media, paid media campaigns and sponsored content hubs, among other platforms. Our team also manages the firm’s presence on social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and the GS.com website. We manage marketing for firm recruitment efforts (partnering with Human Capital Management), the philanthropic efforts of the Office of Corporate Engagement (e.g., 10,000 Women, 10,000 Small Businesses), conferences and speaker series, along with agency and outside vendor sourcing.  We also serve as internal marketing consultants to the different businesses across the firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Role Summary:  This leadership role will support the co-head of the Brand & Content Strategy team serving as a marketing consultant for business units across the firm on external communications activity.

Position Responsibilities:

•Help manage the Firm’s master Brand including oversight of the brand guidelines, logo usage and branded templates•Collaboratively work with key stakeholders of internal business units to develop strategic marketing plans to meet Brand and divisional communications and branding needs. Examples of divisional initiatives include; new business opportunities, the development of technology platforms and community outreach programs.•Lead the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns including; messaging architecture, content development (including videos, infographics), and go-to-market plans (digitally focused paid and organic media)•Manage relationship and workflows of multiple external agencies to drive marketing innovation and flawless execution•Help manage the Firm’s master Brand including oversight of the brand guidelines, logo usage and branded templates•Work closely with other areas of Corporate Communications and the Executive Office to deliver a cohesive and coordinated message

Required Skills and Experience:

•Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10  years of experience in communications or marketing related role (preferred: business to business)•Experience managing teams of marketing and/or communications professionals•Strong project manager who is highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through•Expertise with digital and social media•Experience developing marketing content that drives engagement and helps achieve marketing goals•Demonstrated focus on client-service and ability to build relationships both internally and externally•Experience managing a brand including an understanding of brand positioning, brand messaging/architecture and brand guidelines•Results-oriented – comfort with defining key metrics, monitoring success of initiatives and iterating marketing plans as necessary•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.  Comfort and ability to present complex material•Demonstrated client service focus and ability to build relationships both internally and externally•Collaborative work approach  and ability to work well across a dynamic global team
