Job DescriptionSummaryCaptionCall is looking for a caring, customer service oriented Outreach Specialist with a passion for helping people with hearing loss communicate with the world! The CaptionCall Outreach Specialist will be an advocate for the CaptionCall product. The Outreach Specialist will manage Trainers, oversee and support installations of CaptionCall phones for new customers as well as service calls, and ensure that all area goals are accomplished. Additional focus on keeping existing customer phones working, and educating hard-of-hearing individuals about the life-changing benefits of captioned telephone service.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Hire, train and manage a team of Trainers in the assigned territoryMeet monthly install and service call goals as assigned by the Outreach ManagerManage and assign the phone install and service call work load in the territoryAssist with the customer phone installations and service calls and other Trainer duties as neededAssist the Outreach Manager in any assigned responsibilitiesHold weekly conference calls with team to discuss current issues and provide training on phone firmware, company policies, procedures and FCC regulationsUse reports to manage and motivate team to achieve team goalsMonitor and approve Trainer's timesheetsPlace weekly equipment and marketing material orders for teamAttend regional and corporate trainingsAdvocate the CaptionCall phone and serviceProvide competitive information as it is discoveredHave a positive attitude and be a team playerAdditional responsibilities as assignedQualifications, Education, and\/or Experience:Must be familiar with assistive devices for the hearing impairedMust be familiar with Internet Protocol and telephony including the installation of routers and CaptionCall phonesMust be familiar with the IP Caption Telephone Service business spaceMust be able to present clearly and be able to adapt to various situations and environmentsMust be willing to travel when neededMust be available for workshops and other events on evenings and weekendsPrevious management experience a plusCommunications\/Language Skills:Must be able to communicate with customers and Trainer team from home office on the telephone and in written form.Ability to Manage:The Outreach Specialist will manage a team of Trainers\/Installers in the assigned geographic area. Must also be able to manage the process of working with customers to get them to apply for our phone and service, walk them through the installation, educate them on the service and its benefits, and help troubleshoot.Physical Demands (if applicable):Must be healthy enough to drive and travel via air.
