Global Communications Manager
Job #: 839132 Our client is hiring a Global Communication Manager in the RTP Area ROLE PURPOSE Partner with the Head Seeds Development and Seeds Development Leadership Team to shape the communications and engagement agendas, to support and enable the Seeds Development plan Support the Head Global Communications Seeds on global communications programs as required Manage and implement ongoing internal communications initiatives, including the development of appropriate collateral, to build a sense of purpose, whilst maintaining business continuity and driving business improvement Establish strong working relationships with the other functional and regional Communicators and relevant groups to ensure proper strategic alignment and effective implementation Deliver high quality communications that are fully aligned with the other change work streams. ACCOUNTABILITIES This role will work with leaders, HR Business Partners, Communicators to shape and implement global communications programs Manage and implement communications and engagement activities Hold the end-to-end perspective, aligning activities with Global Seeds communications and other communications programs Partner with Leaders to engage their teams and build two-way dialogue. Put in place change communications strategies to equip leaders to lead change. Develop compelling narratives and messages that pre-empt questions, concerns and issues. Act as an ambassador of our purpose, values and framework, establishing an environment and ways of working that will support and bring these to life within the company. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Critical Knowledge: Minimum BA degree in communications or related field. Ability to build rapport, trust and credibility with leaders, key stakeholders and other communicators. Knowledge of strategic communication and internal communications techniques; understanding of various communication vehicles available to support communication and mobilization activities on a global level Critical Skills: Possess a deep understanding of cross-functional challenges in an international organization. Have proven track record of working in global, matrix business. Excellent oral and written communications skills in English; self-starter; proficient computer skills; ability to handle sensitive/confidential information; ability to work with leaders; and the ability to multitask and manage several projects at once. Ability to develop innovative communication strategies and pragmatic solutions to enable successful implementation of initiatives. Critical Experience: At least 5 years of experience in strategic internal communications. Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment and towards tight timelines.
