We Are Seeking:
A highly skilled senior communications marketing executive with expertise in lifestyle, entertainment/sports section to lead integrated PR strategy and campaigns for some of the world’s most renowned brands across fitness, consumer tech, beauty, apparel and fashion industry. The ideal candidate must be a strategic and progressive thinker, possess strong media relationships, have excellent client management skills and understanding of and application within new media ecosystem. This candidate understands how to work with complex clients and integrated account teams, and how to manage them towards success and growth. This position will also help lead the growth, direction and evolution of an established communications practice.

 
What You Will Be Doing:
Lead evolution of communications practice within integrated marketing agency to provide innovative approach across ever-changing media/channel landscape
Serve as senior strategic media lead on large agency account and provide counsel across multiple client programs. 
Develop and deliver strategic and persuasive presentations and strategies to client satisfaction 
Manage the development and implementation of communications strategies with the goal of advancing exposure and awareness across desired audience/stakeholders and platforms. 
Grow strong relationship and trust with senior clients; providing counsel and mastery of media strategy 
Develop and guide overarching media strategy for client programs e.g., brand campaigns, product launches, executive visibility, thought leadership, industry and corporate announcements
Lead projects from concept/planning to activation, ensuring successful results based on set KPIs 
Build, lead and develop engaged and dynamic teams, mentoring team to build a culture of high performance 
Ability to provide counsel and guidance around crisis and issues; and to juggle multiple projects seamlessly 
Help craft compelling stories, messaging, audience and channels to reach audiences and secure important and diverse media attention
Provide holistic integrated media plans and counsel across earned, owned, digital channels; showcase a command of both digital and traditional communication practices and strategies. 
Direct and coordinate relationships with media; develop and nurture media networks 
Generate short and long-term plans and program recommendations for clients and oversee execution 
Develop KPI measurement strategy for campaigns and deliver on them 
Ability to multitask across accounts and roles, handling multiple c-suite clients, solving problems and making quick decisions
Responsibilities

Maintains an intimate understanding of the clients’ businesses, priorities, pain points and competitive landscape and helps the team do the same 
Account for quality control and review of client correspondence, proposals, press materials, messaging Q&As, etc. 
Must be proactive and flexible, a “roll up your sleeves and get it done” team player able to work in a fluid environment with changing priorities 
Acting as an inspiring leader who supervises and develops staff members 
Strong presentation skills and the ability to craft strategy for new business presentations 
Stays knowledgeable about markets, sectors and channels in which clients operate; uses internal/external resources to address knowledge gaps for self and team 
Anticipates what’s next; helps clients get ahead of issues and capitalize on new opportunities 
Demonstrates empathy for clients – understands clients’ mindset, challenges (personal, professional, internal and external) and barriers to success and takes appropriate action
Balances the needs of the client and the needs of the firm with grace and understanding
Reflects our understanding of clients’ needs today and our anticipation of their future needs  
Can evolve, promote and protect clients’ interests

Manages and monitors client relationships using formal and informal tools and touch points

Oversees client budget management and forecasting; proactively addresses changes in scope and delays in client invoice payment 
Creates growth plans for bringing in new capabilities against client needs 
Seeks out new clients and actively participates in full new business process 
May participate in the development and adoption of new products, services, development of IP and thought leadership materials
Requirements
Basic Qualifications 
At least 10 years of relevant experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields 
Must possess previous experience working in a communications or marketing agency, preferably in lifestyle, sports and/or entertainment 
Proven experience working with consumer tech, lifestyle brands 
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, deadline oriented environment 
Experience working on integrated agency, team model 
Impeccable client relationship skills and experience working with high touch clients 
Experience managing large programs from start to finish
