This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in AWS, a subsidiary of Amazon.com and a global leader in Cloud Computing. In this role you will plan and execute programs targeting global strategic accounts. The goal of these programs is to gain mindshare and build deeper relationships with influencers and key decision makers. They will have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, executive presence, as well as project and account management skills. ** For more information on AWS, please visit http://aws.amazon.com Responsibilities: · Manage the marketing strategy and execution for a portfolio of AWS global accounts. · Develop and execute marketing programs to increase brand awareness and drive sales demand through direct and indirect channels in AWS global accounts. · Provide input and assist in execution of programs to reach customer targets by vertical, drive sales plays, create sales tools and regularly communicate marketing programs and results. · Partner with Product Marketing for commercial intelligence, creation of field communication and self-service tools for sales to leverage. · Leverage global marketing resources to fill sales requirements and find ways to invent and simplify to address sales needs without large budgets. · Earn trust and maintain strong relationships with Account teams to support their goals, increase engagement with marketing and drive program support. · Ability to work on multiple, simultaneous marketing programs that require both strategic thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution.
Basic Qualifications· 7 years of relevant work experience in marketing programs, event planning, or marketing communications. · Ability to execute a wide-variety of marketing programs from demand generation to events to sales tools. · Possess an expert understanding of how to drive business and marketing through the sales and partner channels to grow business. · Travel to meet with sales leaders, attend events and support the sales team will be expected. · Bachelor\u2019s degree in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study
Preferred Qualifications· Experience in marketing B2B technology products or services strongly preferred. · Experience in with either account-based or relationship marketing. · Experience with SalesForce and Marketo strongly preferred. · A career path that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility and proven success delivering measurable marketing results. · Proven track record in creating innovative and targeted marketing programs that generate results. · Skilled negotiator with proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less and staying on budget. · Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables. · Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization. · Motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business. · Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail.
