The Account Executive (AE) sells, develops and manages special event or demo programs for clients. The AE partners with management to set priorities and execute business plans for assigned client accounts. S\/he collaborates with the Business Development or Business Manager and Operations teams in developing and monitoring clients\u2019 special event or demo marketing strategies. The AE turns critically important accounts into deeply engaged, strategic partners by fostering long-term relationships, cultivating and growing the Agency\u2019s existing client base. Duties, Responsibilities and Expected Contributions : Manage all aspects of business development including; follow up on inbound leads, research, participation in brainstorming sessions, preparation and delivery of presentations both in-person and via telephone, contracting and hand-off to operations team, Demonstrate bigger picture understanding of client's marketing strategy and translates how data insights\/tactics associate with longer-term strategy objectives Work collaboratively with Creative, Marketing, Communications, Operations, and other internal stakeholders and outside vendors to improve client marketing strategy and programs for optimal success and effectively manage and grow client accounts. Support achievement of sales growth at a rate and profit margin consistent with the strategic business plan Develop contracts and Statement of Works (SOWs) finalizing their details, costs etc. with vendors Maintain an accurate recording of all opportunities in CRM system if applicable Create, communicate & manage to strict timelines for new and existing campaigns. Maintain a high standard of communication with operations teams on changes and client requests. Communicate the status of each project to appropriate internal and external business partners as well as to retailers, clients, stores and the SDRC as necessary Monitor queue managed by Operation if applicable. Manage weekly staffing calls with Operations if applicable Collaborate with the Business or Operations Manager in creating necessary reports on events including performance feedback on Team. Manage ROI reports by tracking, reviewing and distributing them. Support Business Manager or Operations Manager or Senior Account Executive on special projects involving GO\u2019s, Expos etc. Integrate social media in ways that support event marketing strategies. Performs other duties as required and assigned Position Requirements : Work Experience\/Education Required: Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, Management, Communication, Marketing or related field required Must have three (3) years of experience in planning and\/or executing the logistics of events within a fast-paced team environment with strong attention to detail while managing multiple client accounts Ability and disciplined in handling confidential information Working knowledge of marketing, retail \/ CPG industry a plus Functional Knowledge and Business Expertise Required Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite Salesforce or equivalent CRM solution Attributes\/Competencies: Strong work ethic Customer Focus Critical Thinking Business Acumen Resourceful Strong prioritization skills Thrives in fast paced environment Dealing with Ambiguity Drive for Results Comfort around Higher Management Interpersonal Savvy Negotiating Organizational Agility Perseverance Presentation Skills Results Driven Other Responsibilities: Position may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
