As a member of Google Cloud’s Global Technology Partner team, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of partner programs and ecosystem development in the rapidly evolving world of cloud computing. As a Communication Manager, you will develop and own consistent communications to key internal stakeholders and strategic external outlets. You think big and will develop industry communication strategies to build value for our successful Technology Partners around the world.
The Google Global Technology Partner team is working to develop and support strategic enterprise partnerships and cultivate the partner ecosystem across all Google Cloud products. We work closely with external partners and across Google Cloud’s product management, engineering, marketing, sales, operations and all customer-facing organizations to foster tight integration between our partners and enterprise customers in all industry segments across the globe. Through these programs we seek to develop joint success with our partners, enable partners to be Go-to-Market force multipliers, resulting in a thriving ecosystem aligned to the goal of delighting customers. Manage all communications around the evolution of our Global Technology Partner programs, strategy and ecosystem.
Work closely with the Google Cloud PR, Communications and Marketing teams to synchronize our Technology Partner voice with that of Google Cloud.
Shape and execute the strategy to circulate the core message, vision and evolution of our Global Technology Partner ecosystem through traditional media, social media, blog posts, targeted emails and live events.
Manage internal communications including newsletters, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), global program updates and build a scalable system for keeping interested parties up to date on all things Technology Partner related.
Identify target audiences, define content localization strategy, and evaluate existing and new communication channels; build and maintain communication assets including presentations, data sheets, marketing materials and website messaging.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related fields or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in communications, PR or related fields.
Master of Business Administration or Masters in Communications or equivalent experience.
10 years of partner marketing experience at a Enterprise Software (or Cloud) company, and experience with partner programs.
Ability to work well during ambiguity and proven experience leading cross functional and international teams and projects.
Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and drive them to successful completion, with a wide range of stakeholders and tight timelines.
Passionate about partners, possessing the drive to achieve quick results, and have the capacity to assume increasing responsibility in a highly successful, fast-paced global organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience managing and training executives to stay on message.
