As the Social Media Specialist, you will lead the strategy, planning, execution, and ongoing optimization of Yogawork\u2019s social presence. Copywriting skills come naturally to you, and you have a proven eye for thumb-stopping, interesting content and imagery. You are able to speak for the brand and own the execution of social media messaging against key initiatives including community building, event promotion, fan growth, sales goals, and brand awareness. The Social Media Specialist is a results-driven social media native who stays a step of ahead of social media trends. Manage the day-to-day execution of social media, including scheduling, posting, and community management on all social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat) for all areas of the business including YogaWorks, Yoga Tree, MyYogaWorks, teacher training, workshops, and more. Create compelling content that is on-brand and channel appropriate for both organic and paid social media. Work with internal teams to generate compelling assets that drive results, providing creative direction based on social channel best practices. Manage and optimize paid social media advertising, from ad set-up through execution and reporting. Facilitate and execute Facebook stories, Facebook live, Instagram stories, contests and giveaways, Instagram takeovers with influencers and teachers. Develop a deep understanding and ownership of brand voice. Keep all social media pages and profiles up-to-date by monitoring new updates and trends. Remain immersed in the local studio community management and competitive landscape to determine the latest trends and what is relevant for the business. Keep finger on the pulse of social trends, new platform features and best practices. Attend events, trainings and workshops to document activities, as needed. Field customer inquiries via social media channels with timely funneling of the request to the appropriate internal party to assist - or answer directly with excellent customer service skills when you are able. Manage social media influencers and teacher ambassadors, monitoring and growing the program. Coordinate social assets between brands and social channels, while demonstrating flexibility around adjusting timelines and studio acquisitions. Provide a regular reporting on all social activity, metrics, campaigns, programs, insights, and recommendations. Manage requests from multiple departments and teams for social media. Any other tasks required to help us meet our goals. Minimum 2 years of professional social media experience. Experience growing online communities and developing social media campaigns with a proven track record of results (please provide links to profiles as example). Thorough knowledge and expertise posting on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. Experience with paid social media, especially Facebook business manager. Strong knowledge of social platforms, best practices, emerging trends and technologies. Experience using a social media management platform, like Hootsuite or comparable. Excellent copywriter with the proven ability to be concise, yet impactful in brand voice. Ability to interact effectively with various levels of management. Proactive go-getter who takes the initiative to get things done and constantly reflects on and optimizes his\/her work. Strong copywriting\/copy editing skills. Experience in best practices related to photos and videos as it applies to each social channel. Strong team player who understands corporate goals and can apply those to studio goals, motivating employees to reach individual and team goals within given timelines and constraints. Highly energetic, positive and enthusiastic leader with strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead the team to meet goals.
