Our user base has doubled in the last year alone, and we have paid over $150 million directly to creators on our platform. In order to support this level of growth, Patreon is looking for a Communications Manager.
What you will do:
Develop plan, pitch and secure coverage for product launches and updates
Develop plan, pitch and secure coverage for strategic creator launches
Work directly with Community, Social, Events and Creator facing teams
Build and develop strong relationships with core teams including product, engineering and data to identify and develop creative ideas for stories
Manage speaking submissions, oversee speakers’ bureau, assist in presentation creation as needed
Build and foster relationships with media and influencers
Develop and maintain relationships with creators, patrons and key partners
Assist Head of Communications with reporting and metrics management
Skills and experience you possess:
You thrive in fast-paced, scrappy working environments
You’re great at building relationships internally and externally
You are a strategic and creative thinker
You possess excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
5-7 years of experience in Marketing, Communications or similar field
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Agency experience a plus
