Tactical Opportunities (Tac Opps) is Blackstone's opportunistic investment platform.

The Tac Opps team invests globally across asset classes, industries and geographies, seeking to identify and execute on attractive, differentiated investment opportunities. As part of the strategy, the team leverages the intellectual capital across Blackstone’s various businesses while continuously optimizing its approach in the face of ever-changing market conditions.

Job Description:

The Investor Relations Business Development (“IRBD”) Project Manager will support Tac Opps by driving Fund marketing initiatives and processes including fund raising initiatives (including coordinating with firm-wide IRBD professionals and marketers), Fund closings, regular communication with Limited Partners, production of client materials, strategic marketing initiatives, ensuring all deliverables are met.

Manage overall fund raising efforts both strategy and execution, including oversight of the junior team and placement agents

Design and execute management reporting – including routine weekly and monthly reports and all ad hoc presentations as needed

Lead the preparation of marketing materials, investor presentations, diligence materials, etc.

Liaise with the global IRBD team to disseminate Fund information

Ensure management and completion of all meeting follow-up, diligence requests, RFPs

Chair regular meetings with Blackstone IRBD

Run co-investment processes

Review all Tac Opps client related materials (i.e. capital call memos, updated decks, quarterly reporting, etc.) and design all internal Blackstone memos

Work with executive offices to identify potential travel/key client updates

Maintain co-investment tracker (historical and interest)

Minimum of 6 years of professional experience including demonstrated project management expertise and team leadership

Exceptional ability to drive and manage multiple processes; strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Strong judgment, interpersonal and influencing skills

Superior communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to write effectively

Candidate should be energetic, self-motivated, and a team-oriented individual who thrives on challenge in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - often under pressure to meet demanding deadlines

Strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to learn

Collaborative individual who will foster strong working relationships across firm
