In our pursuit of positively transforming the social-emotional well-being of 100 million children annually by 2028, Committee for Children is looking for an experienced Senior Product Marketing Specialist
to join our Seattle-based team. (The majority of our staff is currently working remotely throughout Washington state due to the COVID-19 pandemic.)
As the Senior Product Marketing Specialist, you will work closely with the Senior Product Marketing Manager by supporting various projects during the planning and launch stages of multiple SEL programs. This position will help deliver on go-to-market strategies with a combination of messaging development, project management, and tactical execution of various marketing campaigns, as well as internal cross-departmental readiness initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage daily administrative and project management tasks to support the strategic implementation deliverables as outlined by the Senior Product Marketing Manager and team
Support the Senior Product Marketing Manager in assessing learnings from market quantitative analysis and qualitative feedback throughout the launch period
Track and report key performance metrics for activities and campaigns
Collaborate to develop and execute on message strategies, developing copy points, editing, and occasionally writing first-draft copy for communications
Manage and track launch-related deliverables, working with both internal and external creative service providers toward on-schedule, on-strategy project completion
Collaborate across the organization with product management, education partnerships, and research, among other stakeholders, to efficiently gather and facilitate input on communication and projects
Contribute strategy development and tactical execution of lead capture and nurture initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
5 years’ experience working in an in-house marketing department or marketing or advertising agency
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Experience managing detailed go-to-market product launches preferred
Familiarity with marketing automation systems and marketing analytics tools preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to positively and productively lead teams and meetings
Ability to develop creative briefs and work successfully with creative teams
Ability to manage complex projects on schedule
Ability to organize, prioritize, and accomplish a variety of tasks and demands
Demonstrated success working collaboratively and using critical-thinking skills to solve problems
Demonstrated experience in identifying and monitoring metrics to assess the performance of marketing efforts

This position is in a general office environment with frequent computer use (please note that CFC staff are working from home until further notice due to the pandemic)
Some travel may be required
May involve a work schedule exceeding 40 hours per week with some evening and weekend hours
