To do so, the Strategic Communications Director leads organizational communication, including research translation to disseminate results to targeted audiences through digital media, social media, and print, and market branding strategies for the highly visible Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health (ANSIRH) program. \u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eThe individual will be responsible for:\u003cbr/\u003e• Establishing, implementing, and evaluating the ANSIRH program’s strategic communications\u003cbr/\u003e• Understanding and communicating research to policy makers, advocacy organizations, and other stakeholders using a wide variety of mediums, including print, visual, and digital\u003cbr/\u003e• Share proposed stories for the media with Public Affairs, which handles all media communications for the university, and with Digital Communications, which manages UCSF.edu and the university’s flagship social media platforms. Both units are part of University Relations\u003cbr/\u003e• Actively managing the communications team, vendors, and consultants; and\u003cbr/\u003e• Supervising one communications staff member.\u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eANSIRH’s Strategic Communications Director partners with the UCSF University Relations teams, which lead media relations, digital communications for the UCSF website and social media channels, branding, and community and government relations.
