The Marketing Coordinator position will be responsible for providing support to a strategic and production marketing team focused on one division across a range of initiatives and will be involved in the implementation and execution of marketing campaigns, partnerships and events to help meet the team's goals of increasing viewership and reinforcing brand presence. The qualified candidate will be a resourceful and proactive, self-starter with a can-do attitude and a passion for the entertainment/television/media industry.
WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE:
Coordinate inter and intra-departmental meetings. Prepare agendas and materials, capture relevant information and ensure that updated materials and next steps are shared with stakeholders.
Support strategy and creative teams in the development and implementation of campaigns, promotions and partnerships by preparing research and competitive information.
Provide brand research, competitive analysis and social media/digital reporting.
Manage production reports and assignment trackers, ensuring information is up-to-date.
Manage footage and contract requests.
Manage daily voiceover scheduling and records.
Help with internal billing for production management team.
Assist in strategy brief development, media plan execution, campaign recaps, and presentation decks. Work with managers to conduct post-campaign/event analysis to determine effectiveness. Brainstorm and recommend opportunities for improvement.
Maintain and coordinate updates to internal signage.
Manage database of strategy vendors and business partners and manage agency communication.
Support events, premiums and special initiatives as assigned.
Assist department on award submissions related to marketing, managing necessary legal documents such as contracts, NDAs, and any other miscellaneous department needs.
Provide administrative support to VP and other members of the marketing team as needed.
Perform other creative duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO OUR TEAM:
Training in and/or a demonstrable understanding of the basic principles of art including perspective, lighting, balance, and color relationships.
Strong leader who is a customer-obsessed, inspiring, and capable of forging strong cross-team partnerships with other business leaders and executives.
Strong executive presence with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience marketing to diverse audiences desired
Motivated self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills as well as ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven record of following through on projects from beginning to delivery.
Creative thinker with strong written and verbal communication skills and impeccable attention to detail.
Collaborates well in a team environment.
Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Digital and social media experience a plus.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field or an equivalent combination of skills.
2 years of project/production management, marketing, advertising or PR experience
