is seeking a Manager, Social Media
to join our Advertising & Marketing team in Kenosha, WI (near Milwaukee, Racine, Chicago)!
This position contributes to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., Inc.’s and Jockey Being Family’s success by providing strategic as well as tactical implementation within key social media channels. This position works closely with key business teams to develop and execute social content strategy and paid social campaigns. Additionally, this position will lead Jockey’s social listening program, preparing regular reporting to be distributed across the organization and work on Jockey’s social and influencer programs as needed.
Develop execute successful content and engagement strategies for Jockey Being Family, ensuring all content ladders up to social objectives.
Develop plans and strategies to promote content through paid social advertising.
Educate and influence team members on the most up-to-date social media thought leadership to ensure social delivers current and best-in-class non-profit programing.
Lead ongoing content development process for Jockey Being Family, including drafting and presenting editorial calendars, driving process timelines with partners, scheduling and submitting content for workflow approvals and scheduling content for publishing.
Lead creative brainstorms and draft run-of-show plans for live social activations complete with copy..
Contribute to Jockey creative brainstorms and content shoots.
Plan and Execute Brand, PR and Product Social and Influencer Programing:
Contribute to and execute brand and PR social programing for Jockey Being Family in conjunction with partners and team members, including campaign executions, live events, influencer programs, etc.
Collaborate on Jockey’s Influencer strategy and help manage program, including contract and content reviews, approval workflows and compliance with FTC regulations.
Ensure responsive dialogue on paid and organic posts to meet consumer expectations.
Be an advocate for Jockey Being Family in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
Reporting & Analytics:
Prepare regular reporting on social efforts as well as prepare social listening reports, analyze the information, create key insights and recommendations.
Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
Educate the Business & Act as a Leader:
Proactively educate and ensure business partners understand social strategy and programing.
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
5+ years’ experience planning and implementing social media efforts, preferably within the consumer products industry.
Proficiency working with major social channels, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube a requirement.
Experience executing social for nonprofit preferred.
Strategic thinker – needs to be able to think strategically, connecting the role social plays in marketing JBF with content creation, copy writing, paid promotion, posting and fielding requests.
Creative mindset – needs to identify creative that will ladder up to the strategy and lead creating that content.
Organization is critical – great time management skills, ability to multitask and a general “get it done” mentality are a must for many roles, but they’re especially important in this position.
Writing & Communication – Maintains excellent copywriting, editing, and verbal communication skills.
A team player with the confidence to take the lead.
