Description Weber Shandwick is seeking a motivated and proactive Senior Associate with 3 years public relations experience for our growing Corporate Practice. We are looking for a seasoned rising star who can hit the ground running managing industry-leading clients. You must have a proven track record of delivering measurable results for clients, including but not limited to media relations. You must also be a strong leader of results-oriented teams and have a demonstrated passion for pursuing news business in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment. What you will do\u2026 Maintain daily client contact and prospect information Help develop long term plans and program recommendations for clients Generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client program success Execute on\u00a0strategies, proposals and oversee ongoing local events Account for quality control and final review of client correspondence, proposals, press materials, messaging, and Q&A Develop and execute on\u00a0media strategies and pitch media (both trade and top tier) Instruct staff in the areas of writing and editing as necessary Contribute to the development of strategic client plans Contribute to work plan of junior team members Ensure quality work from team in order to meet\/exceed client expectations Training and development of staff Serve as a role-model to other team members\u00a0 Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 3 years Corporate Communication Experience in an agency setting Experience working with media\u00a0 Bachelors Degree Additional Qualifications: Can convey ownership of assigned projects to junior team members Can resolve conflicts Can mobilize and motivate teams Aptitude to work independently Excellent oral and written business communication skills Aptitude for financial analysis Can complete challenging projects within set parameters Exceptional judgment when working with team members, client contacts and vendors Established skills in planning and crisis communication Commitment and dedication to the agency's success as well as individual career Can anticipate client and team needs Attention to detail and quality Can solve problems Can impress new business prospects Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Internet, on-line services, Media Map and Dow Jones News Retrieval Weber Shandwick is a leading global public relations firm with offices in 81 countries.
