Your Responsibilities:Reporting to the Marketing Director, the role will be responsible for leading all Digital Marketing activities for their respective area and manages & executes world-class Global and Local digital marketing programs.
We are looking for a solid lead that will foster a culture that is an exemplar for GSK values and drive discipline for defining and executing aligned digital strategy across their Area and establishing an integrated social and digital strategy across the portfolio.
The role requires a solid and passionate digital lead; Someone not afraid to champion great ideas and can quickly evaluate those that are built off a strong global strategy and to embed at the Area level. This role requires someone who is a change agent. She/he must be fluent in digital marketing and eCommerce for today’s consumers and can persuade others to be courageous, innovate and agile in bringing new ideas to life.
The role will support significant online sales growth by delivering a customer-focused, easy to use, best in class, digital and social media platform while also driving digital best practices across the Area and share with other global regions.
This is a role that is very much about bolstering the digital, e-commerce and social media marketing capabilities, driving the commercial performance of brand websites/social media/mobile platforms/e-commerce channel, and providing the push behind online customer acquisition, cross-selling and retention strategies that drive value growth for GSK.
The role will require to evaluate the Area specific objectives quickly and then look to operationalise these at the Area level and down to the LOCs(local operating countries). The role will have direct oversight of the pod structure at the Area level. The candidate will drive discipline across the pod, ensuring they all have clear governance and operating rhythm. They will need to maintain that the pod is running effectively and are resourced with the right people to ensure that they are equipped to collaborate and deliver strong global objectives in the Areas and LOCs(local operating countries).
Basic qualifications:-3-5 Years FMCG experience
-Significant experience in digital marketing, brand building, and communications.
-Experience in search marketing (SEM/SEO), content marketing, social media, mobile marketing, influencer and earned media campaigns, user-generated content, relationship marketing, eCommerce, and use of web analytics and how they are applied.
-Experience of Paid, Owned, Earned, aspects of Digital marketing.
-Japanese: Native, English:business level
Preferred qualifications:-University Degree in Marketing or Communications
-Digital Agency experience
-Experience of leading teams
