In this lucrative role, you will be pro-actively seeking out and developing effective working relationships with new customers, securing new sales for the company, and developing your own network of clients.This is an outside-sales position in which you will prospect for new business – targeting companies of all sizes and in various industries. As a Sales Executive for AmeriPride, you will handle the leasing, rental, and sales of the textile products and services we offer. Sales Executive – Outside Sales Job Responsibilities As an AmeriPride Sales Executive, you will regularly visit potential customer sites to present and familiarize them with our offered goods and services. You will also collaborate with other internal departments to ensure the proper execution of customer activities after you’ve made a sale. Additional responsibilities for the Sales Executive include: Following customer sales and marketing trends Consistently updating sales managers on overall business results and progress while in the field Entering qualified prospects into our database Measuring and evaluating your financial/sales productivity to determine areas in need of improvement Attending internal sales training and development as scheduled. Job Requirements
As a Sales Executive for AmeriPride, you must be communicative, confident, and action-oriented. This is an action-based sales position, so you must be comfortable with cold-calling, personal appointments, as well as group presentations. Furthermore, to be successful, you must understand Business-to-Business and Contract Sales. Additional requirements of the Sales Executive include: 2-year degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a similar field, in lieu of professional experience OR Minimum 1 year of professional selling experience in lieu of a formal education Possessing a valid driver’s license, proof of car insurance and a dependable vehicle General computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel and Word Experience with Oracle On-demand or, desired Bilingual (Spanish and/or French), a plus
