Description
GENERAL FUNCTIONS: Plan and guide the strategy for CWF communications including print, web, social and traditional media. Manage editorial direction, design, production, and distribution of all organization publications print and digital. Ensure strong, consistent messaging and brand standards to align with agency voice and strategic priorities of The Center.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Create and develop strategic communications plan; develop communications related guidelines and manuals for branding, voice, and image use across the agency.
Direct vision of agency publications, website, and social media. Create and copywrite editorial content. Develop campaign themes. Execute campaign communications.
Work in conjunction with the VP of Development and Communications in managing media relations including coordinating interviews, media alerts, press releases, and press events.
Plan, direct, and administer graphics, design, layout, and copy for all agency print collateral and multimedia presentations from concept to distribution including brochures, flyers, mailings, annual reports, newsletters, and more.
Oversee the graphics standards and messaging for the agency. Review and edit the work of team-members to maintain appropriate messaging and brand standards.
Develop and oversee department budget. Manage day-to-day relationships with vendors. Secure print, photography, videography, web, and marketing vendors. Supervise contract workers and interns.
Oversee all organizational social media including development of social media strategy, policy, and content for all social channels and platforms under the CWF umbrella. Supervise/support other social media contributors.
Plan, develop, direct, and administer content for The Center’s online presence through agency website, blog, and e-communications.
Assist with implementation of special and annual events (i.e., Celebration of Service & Survival) as related to print collateral, messaging, production, and marketing. Special projects may require procurement and management of photography, videography, artist, design, production and writing vendor relationships.
Coordinate agency special projects in conjunction with staff outside of communications during special events and/or projects, including strategy, marketing/communications and graphics needs during Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Interface with clients, volunteers, committees, advisory boards, and community resources as job duties require.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent business experience.
OTHER:
Proficiency in PC and Mac interfaces
Proficiency with photo manipulation, page layout and website editing, including but not limited to InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and WordPress
Fluency in languages other than English and cultural knowledge are a plus.
Must provide own transportation and/or have valid driver’s license as appropriate per job needs.
Must maintain a driving record that meets CWF automobile insurance requirements
Must pass criminal background and motor vehicle check, post-contingent of offer of employment
