Job Summary

Based out of Comcast Corporation's global headquarters in Philadelphia, the Social Media Program Manager of Corporate Communications will be a part of the team that has broad responsibilities around driving the company's strategic vision locally, nationally, and globally. The Social Media Program Manager of Corporate Communications will work on an array of communications items, including helping to create an online presence for the company's global audit function as it attracts talent. The role will also work across teams within the Corporate Communications department, including working on digital and social strategies and communications pertaining to Xfinity consumer products, Comcast Business, environment, awards, special events, and other projects as assigned.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

*Works as part of the Corporate Communications team to support the global audit function as it builds an online presence.

*Provides research and assistance in the development and design of new communications-related projects.

*Works on array of projects pertaining to corporate financial, Xfinity consumer products, Comcast Business, digital and social strategies, environment, awards, and other projects as assigned.

*Develops and writes communications materials, including communications plans, website stories, blog posts, draft press releases, executive remarks, Q&A, award submissions, etc. Also works on items pertaining to the company's corporate social media presence.

*Monitors media, including digital and traditional, and develops coverage and research reports.

*Supports special thought-leadership events and projects pertaining to corporate initiatives in Philadelphia.

*Manages all assigned projects to completion ensuring on-time delivery. Maintains communication with stakeholders.

*Works on other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

*Bachelor's degree.

*5-7 years of experience in public relations or related experience in strategic communications within an agency or corporate environment.

*Previous marketing, digital, and/or advertising experience a plus.

*Strong project management skills.

*Excellent understanding of social media and digital platforms, including Twitter and LinkedIn, and website development.

*Solid writing skills with ability to develop succinct messages in a fast-paced environment.

*Collaborative and team player, punctual attendance, and willing to be available 24-7 given the global nature of the company.

*Creative thinker who can constantly develop new ideas to help drive the company's reputation forward.

*Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
