Responsible for supporting the Heartland region PR team that manages all external communication initiatives in Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky. Under direct supervision of the department vice president, intern will work on a variety of projects that support the departments' three priorities: 1) Humanize the Comcast brand; 2) Position the company as a tech leader; and 3) Reinforce the company's commitment to customer service.
- Writing press releases, blog posts
- Assist with social media listening and engagement
- Developing story ideas and social media content
- Supporting team with event planning and press events
- Assists with projects to ensure deadlines are met.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. May 21, 2018 through August 3, 2018.
- Approximately 5% travel
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- High School or Equivalent AND Entering Sophomore, Junior or Senior year of college; or a recent graduate in spring 2018.
