Reporting to the JHHCG Director, Marketing/Communications and Sales, the Sales Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day oversight of the sales team which includes hiring, performance, evaluation, engagement, education, coaching and corrective action responsibilities. Reacting to the annual Marketing/Communications Program and collaborating with the JHHCG Director, Marketing/Communication and Sales to develop the Sales program, the Sales Manager is responsible for creating and implementing a sales plan that aligns with and provides directional focus towards strategic goal achievement. The Sales Manager will help the sales team to identify creative ways to capture new business. To ensure proactive and professional communication, the Sales Manager will also help the Sales team to develop sales dialogues/scripts to mitigate service concerns and to increase sales of company services and products. On an on-going basis, the Sales Manager will review the sales plan and work with the sales team to assess the competitive landscape and institute needed changes. The Sales Manager will set individual team member goals, hold staff accountable for implementing targeted tactics and provide feedback regarding achievements. The sales manager is responsible for providing education to all sales team members and will create and implement a comprehensive orientation and onboarding program. The sales manager will also maintain key accounts and conduct both individual sales calls, and calls with sales team members and operational leaders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business administration

Master's degree preferred

Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of health care industry, regulations, and reimbursement

Respiratory/HME knowledge preferred

Home Health Care knowledge preferred

Private duty knowledge preferred

Pharmacy knowledge preferred
