JOB INFORMATION Manages internal communications for one or more of the Company?s business units. Operates with considerable latitude in developing and executing strategic communications plans that engage employees, drive change, and improve the company's public image. Applies strategic thinking, creativity, best practices, and problem solving to highly significant matters. Should be comfortable operating in a matrixed reporting structure. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS Develop internal communications plans to support the company?s corporate programs and large-scale change initiatives. Manage internal and change communications for one or more business units. Research, develop, and execute communication strategies to ensure that business units meet goals and objectives. Collaborate with, counsel, and influence senior management and stakeholders. Create compelling content, messaging, and stories; create compelling visual presentations. Write executive communications, feature stories, video scripts, blogs, persuasive messaging, promotional materials, op-eds, and web content. Research and implement best practices. Track and improve communications based on content analysis, metrics, user feedback, and marketing research. Provide recommendations. Project manage highly complex projects. Qualifications EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 4 years of related experience SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Demonstrated superior written and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex business information to concise and simple messaging. Demonstrated experience writing internal communications a plus. Strong collaboration with the ability to proactively engage with various audiences. Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully manage projects or initiatives independently. Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Ability to think strategically and assist with the creation and execution of comprehensive communications plans. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Public relations agency experience considered a plus. Knowledge of communications best practices.
