Internal Communications & Public Relations Intern - Wayne, NJ
The Internal Communications & Public Relations Intern position is for a current (undergrad/grad) student looking to gain experience in Internal Communications & Public Relations team. The Internal Communications Intern will support the Internal Communications Team as directed and will assist in the coordination and execution of internal communication and public relation initiatives.
\tAssist with execution of internal communications
\tAssist with compiling, editing and posting articles to the intranet
\tAssist with coordination of the approval process for documents/press releases
\tAssist with maintenance of content calendar for intranet
\tAssist with update updating documents/ppt presentations to meet brand guidelines
\tAssist with project management of activities through financial systems and project tracking software
Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions:
\tResponsible for understanding and conforming with the Environmental Policy to ensure that significant environmental aspects that relate to actual or potential impacts with their work are executed to minimized the effects on the environment.
\tResponsible for bringing to the attention of management any potential improvements that could reduce our environmental impact or to report activities that could result in a negative impact to the environment.
\tResponsible for understanding and conforming with the Health and Safety Policy to ensure that the significant risks that relate to actual or potential hazards with their work are identified.
\tCurrently enrolled in an college degree program
\tExperience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
\tSkilled in proofreading and editing
\tEffective, clear information presentation/communication skills
\tExcellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
\tAttention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
\tComfortable with changing priorities while still achieving goals
\tUnderstanding of analytics and an appreciation for financial parameters
\tWorks well both independently and in a team setting
\tUnderstanding of Outlook and internet research
\tAbility to work 16 - 20 hours per week
