The Anatomical Pathology Division (APD) provides laboratories with the broadest portfolio of instrument and consumable solutions, from specimen collection and grossing to advanced staining and cover slipping. The Division generates $400MM in annual revenue and has 1,500 employees in 13 countries. The anatomical pathology product line includes Richard Allan Scientific, Erie Scientific, Microm, Shandon, and Lab Vision.
How will you make an impact?
The Marketing Communications Specialist will assist with and create marketing communications content, both verbal and visual for internal and external audiences. The Marketing Communications Specialist will develop impactful, strategically aligned content across a wide variety of media including web, social media, interactive, print, environmental, video, and virtually any other platform as needed. Typical projects include: labeling and packaging design, print collateral development, app development, website updates, trade show booth design, and PowerPoint presentations. The Marketing Communications Specialist will be responsible for maintaining deadlines, prioritizing tasks and communicating with a cross-functional team throughout the development process.
What will you do?
Responsible for copywriting across all media
Will utilize computer software to develop artwork for print and digital dissemination
Modify artwork for labeling and packaging design, print collateral, apps, website, trade show booths, PowerPoint presentations, and other media as needed.
Will be responsible for project management, time management, routing paperwork and asset management
Will coordinate with outside agencies, photographers, freelance artists and printers as needed
Will maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops, reviewing professional publications and participating in professional societies
Will ensure compliance with corporate brand and visual standards
Other duties as assigned
How will you get here?
2-4 years’ experience in a professional setting preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Writing and / or Graphic Arts, or equivalent experienc
Demonstrated skills in Adobe Creative Suite applications, MS Office Applications
Copywriting and Visual portfolio for review preferred
