KeyW, a national security solutions provider for the Intelligence, Cyber and Counterterrorism Communities, is seeking a dynamic, mature and motivated self-starter to support corporate communications initiatives. This internship is a unique opportunity for a hands-on role supporting the Communications department of a 2,000 person government contractor.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Developing and implementing social media campaigns and posts
Writing blogs, newsletter articles, press releases and other corporate communications
Drafting presentations, web pages, product information sheets and other marketing collateral
Assisting with media pitches and interviews
Updating the corporate inter-and intranet
Qualified candidates should:
Have completed or be working toward a college degree in related field (Mass Communications, Public Relations or English)
Be computer literate (working knowledge of Microsoft office and social media channels)
Have effective oral and written communications skills
Have good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Be mature with a professional mindset and the ability to be discreet
Be able to work 9 a.m. \u2013 5 p.m. Monday through Friday From mid-June through mid-August
Must be willing and able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
