We are seeking an accomplished, Senior Product Marketing professional to lead the development of cross-product or solution narratives mapped to advertiser objectives such as acquiring new customers, or running always on campaigns. This role will take a leadership position in shaping our overall advertising product positioning and messaging by mapping advertiser objectives such as building brand awareness or mastering eCommerce to our various ad products. You will work closely with and across Marketing, PR, Product Management, Sales, Research, and Training teams to develop a solution content strategy as well as identify gaps in product or solution knowledge for new and evolving products, and build out strategies and materials to address them. This role requires an analytical yet narrative driven marketer with an ability to align different product offerings to advertiser objectives that consistently adjust based on market conditions and feedback from the field. You will join a rapidly-growing team at an early stage in its development, and have the opportunity to work across a wide range of product lines (search, display, video, custom, measurement, audiences, programmatic) in developing the strategic vision and execution for bringing new products to market within objective-based solution sets. Specific functions are as follows:
Create new solution narratives and content to showcase the value of our advertising offerings. Content includes developing pitch decks, playbooks, case studies, one sheets, blog posts, and training to land new narratives in market with sales and customers directly.
Map individual product solutions to objectives to develop best practices and product recommendations tied to advertiser goals.
Develop new first-party proof points or source third-party research to support value propositions and positioning.
Guide the prioritization, development and implementation of experiments or internal research to generate insights that communicate the benefits of Amazon\u2019s product portfolio globally
Leverage external direct-to-advertiser marketing channels to communicate cross-product narratives; channels may include email, blog, website, webinars etc.
Align closely with Product Management to influence product roadmap prioritization by identifying customer and market needs
Align closely with Sales to develop positioning and messaging that enables them to sell solutions more effectively
Act as voice of the product for external customers and voice of the customer for internal product and sales stakeholders
5 years\u2019 experience in product marketing, product management or product development
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science or related discipline
Strong bias for data-driven decision-making and experience in distilling complex, analytically dense products into client-facing solutions
Demonstrated experience and ability in driving product positioning development for advertising solutions
Project management experience and fanatical attention to detail
Demonstrated experience and ability in driving product positioning development
Experience in eCommerce, advertising or technology sector
Experience working with a fast-paced and geographically diverse Display Sales organization
An ability to manage and negotiate with vendors to drive maximum efficiency
Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed organization
Entrepreneurial spirit / ability to try different things with minimal direction
Experience working cross-functionally across Sales, Product Management, Marketing and Research
