The Weber Shandwick Bostonoffice is currently seeking a VicePresident, Client Experience for its Healthcare Practice. The VP is responsiblefor managing client and inter-agency relationships, playing a critical role indetermining the future and long-term success of our Health Practice. The VPwill be responsible for all aspects of a client relationship and account team.He\/She will manage a significant piece of business with multiple work streamsand team members in multiple offices. VPs are also engaged with businessdevelopment, strategic program planning and the development of creativeconcepts. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the healthcare space \u2013 \u00a0(pharmaceuticals, biotechs \u2013 productcommunications (data, regulatory milestones, disease awareness), enterprisecorporate communications, strong strategic and critical thinking, account andproject management and team\/staff mentorship. Responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to: Day-to-day work stream oversight and strategic counsel Facilitating integration efforts with other agency partners Driving communications execution around products\/portfolios and corporate communications Working across internal specialists, including scientific experts, media, digital and creative Working with senior counselors on strategy Support project and financial management Stay up to date on relevant news\/health and integrated media trends, sharing them with the team and the client Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 8-10 years healthcare public relations experience in a fast-paced setting(preferably agency) BA or BS Communications or related degree ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS Can turn ideas into workable plans Capacity to convey ownership of assigned projects to junior team members Can solve conflict Can mobilize and motivate teams Can work independently and as part of a team Excellent oral and written business communication skills Aptitude for financial analysis Can complete challenging projects within set parameters Exceptional judgment when working with team members, client contacts and vendors Commitment and dedication to the agency's success as well as individual career Can anticipate client and team needs Attention to detail and quality Instills confidence with clients and colleagues AboutWeber Shandwick Weber Shandwick is a leading globalcommunications and engagement firm in 78 cities with a network extending to 129cities around the world.
