Summary:

Responsible for assisting Investor Relations leadership with development of Investor Relations strategies, policies and implementation of investor relations programs with a focus on institutional shareholder base. Acts as a Company spokesperson and supports corporate communications with local/regional/national financial press and newswire services. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions. Contributes to the development of the organization's business strategy. Interprets business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy. Typically manages multiple teams of professionals.

Core Responsibilities:

- Serves as corporate contact, representative, and spokesperson in dealings with Company investors with a focus on investment research analysts and institutional investors, analysts and portfolio managers.

- Serves as financial liaison to industry associations, research firms, brokerage firms, NASDAQ, news/trade publications, and vendors.

- Supports Investor Relations leadership in developing relationships with sell-side analysts, buy-side analysts, portfolio managers, and industry contacts (regulatory and technical). Plans and executes investor meetings, conferences (and other presentations).

- Develops, designs, writes, edits, and coordinates production of investor communications including presentation and conference materials; earnings, transaction press releases and supporting materials (including slides, Q A, speeches, scripts, etc.)

- Directs a group of internal financial analysts performing Investor Relations support/productions tasks that include monitoring and reviewing investment community research on the Company and industry; distributes information to Company management and Boa

- Assists with updating senior management and Board on ownership, financial community, and industry issues impacting stock.

- Collaborates with management to review proxy proposals and other proxy issues, and serves as spokesperson with institutional shareholders on proxy issues. Works closely with Legal, Corporate Communications, and Investor Relations Shareholder Services.

- Interacts directly and regularly with various internal resources such as corporate senior management, Accounting, Legal, Treasury, Corporate Communications, and cable division, programming division executives, etc.

- Conducts and/or actively participates in special Investor Relations projects/studies including guidance analysis and recommendations, disclosure issues (including FD), governance, and others as required.

- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

- Acts as a mentor to junior members of the IR team, providing feedback, coaching and guidance on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

- Generally requires 14 years of experience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).

- Requires Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related.

- Previous experience with the cable, telecommunications, internet, media and/or entertainment industries.

- Demonstrated financial modeling and analytical skills.

- Experience developing senior-executive level presentations.

- Proven ability to translate information about operational and financial performance into simple messaging.

- Excellent diplomacy, relationship building and communications skills across all levels.

- Experience leading teams.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
