Job DescriptionMarketing DirectorResponsibilities/Qualifications:-\tDesigns and executes communications programs that align with business objectives and will drive engagement with members and staff -\tCoordinates internal and external communication regarding products and services offered that drive increased market penetration and enhance the consistency within the credit union; Will partner with various departments and may recommend marketing activity based on research and evaluation of surveys, focus groups and metrics-\t30%; Develop and implement an integrated strategic communications plan to advance the awareness and broaden the visibility of the Credit Union's programs and priorities to member, staff and the general public-\t20%; Identify challenges and issues faced by the organization. Work with management and staff to improve internal and external communications opportunities and solutions and define consistent and clear message across all channels.-\t20%; Put communication vehicles in place to create momentum and awareness as well as test the effectiveness of communications activities; create online content across multiple channels that engages audience segments and leads to measurable action.-\t15%; Manage the development, distribution and maintenance of print and electronic communications including, but not limited to, staff newsletters, Internal knowledge base platform, training videos, surveys and website to ensure information is consistent.-\t10%; Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and commitment to providing quality to members and staff.-\t5%; Maintain standards, policies and processes in alignment with strategic vision of the Credit Union.Performance Measurements:1.\tProvide direction and recommendations to management, based on current research data, regarding market strategies, staff needs and directions the credit union should take.2.\tAssist with the achievement of the credit union's planned market share, assets, loans, and other product/service objectives, meeting the credit union's growth objective with consistent communications across all channels.3.\tProvide informed, professional, accurate service and support to all associates that will communicate member needs and product feedback .4.\tAccomplish all assigned projects according to policy and procedures, keeping management informed of any key issues.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:-\tExperience: Five years to eight years of similar or related experience.-\tDemonstrated ability to develop and execute communications programs internally and externally.-\tEducation: BA/BS degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing or related field.-\tInterpersonal Skills: Highly collaborative style; experience developing and implementing communications strategies. Work may involve motivating, influencing or training others. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to confidently provide advice and guidance that reflects the understanding of the business and leadership style.-\tOther Skills: Solid understanding of key industry trends.-\tSkilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing and executing simultaneous projects and activities. -\tDemonstrated understanding of technology platforms used by the Credit Union.Work Schedule: 8am - 5pm Monday thru FridayLocation: Pleasanton, CASalary: up to 95K DOE
