Job Overview
Do you have a passion for ecommerce and driving exponential growth with key customers while leveraging your entrepreneurial mindset, building off ideas to create greater growth and impact for the organization? Do you have an understanding of Shipt and Instacart and/or a desire to learn quickly and deeply about these important ecommerce players? We are seeking an ecommerce Planner to work within our Brand Experience team in the North American Retail segment, and this could be the position for you!
The purpose of this role is to assist and accelerate our rapidly growing ecommerce business by working across multiple key stakeholders to bring brand plans to life at our ecommerce customers, particularly with Shipt, Instacart and our associated retailers. It will be instrumental to build strong relationships with OU teams, sales teams, central BX and our external customer teams. This role will also serve as the main point of contact for our external ecommerce, shopper, media and experiential agencies. Additionally, this position will facilitate eCommerce marketing, and mar tech capability growth by partnering and working with BX ecommerce Capabilities.
You will have the opportunity to build relationships and interface with stakeholders across a range of groups within the organization including our North American Marketing, Brand Experience and Sales teams, our Global ecommerce team, the Global Business Solutions (IT) group, and our Sourcing organization. Build your brand, Experience Expertise and Matrix Relationship Management all while building and driving capabilities through exponential ecommerce business growth!
The immediate area of focus for this role will be in planning & execution for our Pureplay ecommerce retailers. In addition, you will:

Orchestrate strategies, priorities and business objectives across brand teams and sales teams.
Build retailer specific plans by overseeing creative briefs, managing project timelines and budgets
Actively optimize eCommerce retail plans \u2013 learning and iterating on what works
Conduct data/event analysis
Serve as marketing expert and partner to sales team through thought leadership, insights and best practice sharing.
Attend and present at external customer meetings, assisting in selling in shopper marketing programs, events and GMI capabilities
Manage agency relationships with in-store, media and experiential agency partners
Engage with key stakeholders to determine strategy & investment governance process requirements
Work with internal cross-functional partners to build relationships between the ecommerce team, Brand Experience and Brand Marketing
Build ISM ecommerce Capabilities


Bachelor\u2019s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
1-3 years of Shopper Marketing/Promotion or applicable experience 
Strong understanding of CPG structure & digital consumer marketing
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners

Demonstrated Business Influence & Advocacy


Past ecommerce marketing experience
3 years developing strategic ecommerce retail plans
Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms/retailer landscape highly preferred, curious and aware of the external retail and competitive landscape
Entrepreneurial spirit
Resilient and undeterred in attacking complex technical challenges
Strong service- and detail-orientation
Ability to take leadership and work autonomously when needed
Experience working in shopper marketing or with sales teams
Strong external presentation and selling/pitching experience
Ability to distill and operate in a strategic manner
Able to move multiple projects forward to completion simultaneously
Adaptable to changing priorities and wide-ranging requests for information and intelligence
Effective communicator and coalition builder, ability to bring disparate functions together with agility, resilience and collaboration
Comfortable analyzing wide-ranging data sources/sets to identify insights, trends and implications
