Employee Communications Specialist 4','20000VVP','','English','English','!*!SaaS Engineering is currently undergoing a significant transformation towards a DevSecOps business culture. We are seeking a highly motivated and polished Principal Employee Communication Specialist to inspire and connect employees with our vision and priorities.
We communicate with employees in a variety of ways, with the goal of reaching everyone wherever they are. This critical position is responsible for creating targeted communication strategies, plans, content, and materials that inform and engage our employees and support our business. You will join us at a time when we are designing the future of how we communicate with and connect employees globally. This position reports to the Senior Director, Employee Experience in SaaS Engineering.
Develop and manage the overarching strategic communication plan and roadmap for SaaS Engineering.
Create and implement communication plans for a diverse range of organization-wide initiatives, cross-cutting program rollouts, and change management efforts.
Proactively identify gaps in our communications and raise solutions for addressing them.
Develop the strategies and materials to strengthen the SaaS Engineering brand.
Modernize communication practices, and drive the transition to a video-first culture.
Track and evaluate results, and apply key learnings to improve future communication plans and activities.
Establish and oversee the employee communication governance practices that drive a desired and consistent experience for our employees.
Manage organization-wide employee communication vehicles, including All Hands meetings, newsletters, organization announcements, Slack channels, and web presence.
Deliver essential news and information to employees in a timely manner. Share what we know, when we know it.
Facilitate productive feedback loops and promote open, multi-directional communication.
Support employee engagement and community building activities, and initiatives spanning the employee lifecycle.
Develop communication standards, processes, and best practices for organization-wide use.
Engage quickly to address time-sensitive communications.
Create targeted content aligned to the needs of different stakeholders.
Work with subject matter experts to translate and distill information into clear, easy-to-understand, and engaging communications.
Provide input on messaging and positioning, and influence stakeholders as needed to ensure communications are impactful and aligned with the style and tone that reflects our brand.
Model high-quality content development for the rest of our team.
This position will also support the development of some content for external use.
Write talking points for SVP, SaaS Engineering for a wide range of written communications and speaking events.
Provide personalized communication coaching and support to the SaaS Engineering leadership team.
WHEN IT COMES TO COMMUNICATIONS…
You have at least 8-10 years of experience in employee communications, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.

You clearly see the big picture that informs the communication strategy and plan, as well as the details that turn the plan into reality.

You are an exceptional storyteller with impeccable writing, editing, proofreading, and speaking skills.
You have an instinct for picking the right words, tone, and transitions.
You notice the small details of punctuation, spelling, and grammar and take them seriously.
You have an eye for layout and design, and leverage visuals to communicate concepts effectively.
You have deep and wide expertise across communication tools, processes, and best practices, and you know how and when to use them to maximize impact.
You are well-versed and at-ease with digital media and social media tools and platforms.
You have experience and are comfortable working with confidential and restricted information.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, writing-intensive field, or equivalent experience.

','!*!Responsible for providing employee communications support by providing collaborative consultation and guidance, developing and implementing communications strategy and plans, writing and developing communications deliverables, and publishing content across a variety of internal channels, including internal news and blog stories, video, emails, social media and web. Consults with internal stakeholders from the organization to clearly understand business objectives and define the communications objectives and outcomes needed to address those objectives. Acquires deep understanding of internal stakeholders' business and builds ongoing strategic relationships to proactively provide guidance and support stakeholder's communications needs and challenges. Applies design-thinking and uses data, insights and user input to inform strategies, messaging and program design. Writes crisp and compelling positioning, messaging and content for a variety of media and channels, including email, articles, social media, newsletters, presentations, events, video, web, and collateral; ensures strategic message alignment and consistency across touchpoints. Manages communications plan implementation, including design and development of high-impact communications deliverables, websites, and campaigns; collaborates with internal and external partners and vendors to deliver. Analyzes effectiveness of communications efforts, improves existing processes, and researches new communication approaches. 8 - 12 years experience in communications with emphasis in internal/employee communications, including project management, strategic client engagement, communication plan development and implementation, written and video storytelling, content organization, message flow, grammar, proofreading, and editing. Experience using web publishing and social media tools preferred. Ability to work in a fast paced, continuously evolving, and at times ambiguous environment. Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills. Highly detail-oriented. Proficiency in MS Office suite. Experience using HTML and Adobe Photoshop preferred.
