Profile

The Sales Manager is responsible for selling all Sports Performance Center programs and services. This position will involve heavy call volumes and an ability to maximize revenue opportunities through phone calls, tours, email, and events. This position will also require the ability to support on and off site events as requested. The sales manager will assist with lead generation and support the business development team with outreach activities as needed. This position will also assist with the life cycle of the sales process for each guest from registration, scheduling, billing, reporting, and follow up. The sales manager will work with the guest services team to ensure each guest experience is held at the highest regard. The sales manager will also lead retention strategies to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
Field inbound call inquiries related to Sports Performance Center programs and offerings
Heavy outbound calling from established leads
Maximize all revenue opportunities while working with clients and groups
Provide facility tours to potential clients and groups
Schedule clients for programs using the facility software
Generate leads from offsite events and customer referrals
Support all facility events as directed by supervisor
Track and maintain accurate pipeline of leads using the facility software
Process client payments accurately and in a timely manner
Provide sales updates and reports to supervisor as requested
Support all business development opportunities as requested
Track sales conversion and retention rates and provide detailed reports to supervisor monthly
Develop and maintain relationships with athletes, parents, and clients
Provide excellent customer service
Work with guest services to implement/assist with sales practices
Maintain working knowledge of all SPC products
Greet guests and visitors to SPC in a friendly and courteous manner and ensures an optimal guest experience
Work with facility team to resolve guest-related issues
Handle all guest service duties with enthusiasm and professionalism at all times
Support all other organizational objectives, plans, policies, and miscellaneous projects related to guest (both clinical and non-clinical) experience not specifically outlined above
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, marketing, communications, related field or equivalent experience
4 years in sales, marketing, or sports management role
4 years’ experience with high call volumes
Computer skills and experience working in a sporting environment
