Change Management & Internal Communications Specialist - Audit & Assurance Strategy Execution Team (ASET)
The ASET team is aligned to the A&A Strategy Office, reporting to the A&A Chief Strategy Officer, and enables A&A PPMDs and professionals to successfully execute the A&A strategy. In support of A&A strategic priorities, the team drives awareness and action through effective internal communications and change management strategies and fosters employee commitment and sustained strategy adoption to achieve transformational change. This team specializes in the disciplines of change management, internal communications, and employee engagement. The team works closely with A&A Executive Committee leaders and their teams; the team also collaborates with Learning, Public Relations, and Marketing to optimize impact.
Deloitte is seeking a Change Management & Internal Communications Specialist to join the Audit & Assurance Strategy Execution Team. The role is responsible for the support of change management and internal communication strategies, plans, and deliverables to enable large-scale organizational transformation, inclusive of technology deployments and implementation of process changes, growth strategies, and future of work initiatives. You will work closely with your colleagues on an integrated internal communications and change management team, as well as with senior leaders and subject matter experts.
Work You'll Do:
Reporting to the Change Management & Communications Senior/Manager, work directly with key stakeholders and ASET team members to assist in developing and fully implementing comprehensive change, communications, and learning plans.
Employ strong project and change management skills (initiating, planning, executing, managing, and closing projects to achieve plan objectives).
Assist with alignment of all stakeholder groups to drive organizational transformation strategies for the Audit & Assurance business through robust stakeholder engagement plans.
Develop impactful change management and communications deliverables.
Assess business readiness, change impacts, and employee engagement through feedback mechanisms.
Analyze results collected from surveys, focus groups, and other feedback/monitoring tools to identify successes and areas for improvement; prepare executive summaries and use results to strategically inform and guide change management activities and communication needs.
Assist with defining and measuring change adoption metrics and key performance indications (KPIs) for change management efforts.
Work with your Coach to design and manage your personal and professional development plan; seek opportunities for professional growth and expansion of communications and change management skills and experiences.
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in change management, communications or a related area required
Experience in employee communications as part of large-scale change management efforts to drive the implementation of organizational transformation efforts is a bonus
Strong knowledge of leading practices in corporate communications and change management impacts
Strong writing and editing skills and previous writing/editing experience in internal communications, public relations, marketing, or journalism field
Basic understanding of change management frameworks and tactics
Experience working collaboratively in a virtual environment with team members across multiple offices/locations
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint: specifically, on presentation, design, and storytelling)
Ability to travel as required, if needed (once travel restrictions are lifted)
Strong project management skills, including ability to prioritize tasks and assignments
Ability to work independently on multiple assignments while maintaining top-quality deliverables
Sense of urgency and responsiveness with the ability to manage multiple task assignments simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
