The ideal candidate must be a strategic and progressive thinker, possess strong media relationships, have excellent client management skills and understanding of and application within new media ecosystem. This candidate understands how to work with complex clients and integrated account teams, and how to manage them towards success and growth. This position will also help lead the growth, direction and evolution of an established communications practice.u00a0What You Will Be Doing:Lead evolution of communications practice within integrated marketing agency to provide innovative approach across ever-changing media/channel landscape Serve as senior strategic media lead on large agency account and provide counsel across multiple client programs.u00a0 Develop and deliver strategic and persuasive presentations and strategies to client satisfactionu00a0 Manage the development and implementation of communications strategies with the goal of advancing exposure and awareness across desired audience/stakeholders and platforms.u00a0 Grow strong relationship and trust with senior clients; providing counsel and mastery of media strategyu00a0 Develop and guide overarching media strategy for client programs e.g., brand campaigns, product launches, executive visibility, thought leadership, industry and corporate announcements Lead projects from concept/planning to activation, ensuring successful results based on set KPIsu00a0 Build, lead and develop engaged and dynamic teams, mentoring team to build a culture of high performanceu00a0 Ability to provide counsel and guidance around crisis and issues; and to juggle multiple projects seamlesslyu00a0 Help craft compelling stories, messaging, audience and channels to reach audiences and secure important and diverse media attention Provide holistic integrated media plans and counsel across earned, owned, digital channels; showcase a command of both digital and traditional communication practices and strategies.u00a0 Direct and coordinate relationships with media; develop and nurture media networksu00a0 Generate short and long-term plans and program recommendations for clients and oversee executionu00a0 Develop KPI measurement strategy for campaigns and deliver on themu00a0 Ability to multitask across accounts and roles, handling multiple c-suite clients, solving problems and making quick decisions Responsibilitiesu00a0 Ability to think and program across a variety of platforms, channels and audiences Consistently identifies business problem(s) that clients are looking to solve and ensures they are understood by teamu00a0 Maintains an intimate understanding of the clientsu2019 businesses, priorities, pain points and competitive landscape and helps the team do the same Account for quality control and review of client correspondence, proposals, press materials, messaging Q&As, etc.u00a0 Must be proactive and flexible, a u201croll up your sleeves and get it doneu201d team player able to work in a fluid environment with changing prioritiesu00a0 Acting as an inspiring leader who supervises and develops staff membersu00a0 Strong presentation skills and the ability to craft strategy for new business presentationsu00a0 Stays knowledgeable about markets, sectors and channels in which clients operate; proactively addresses changes in scope and delays in client invoice paymentu00a0 Creates growth plans for bringing in new capabilities against client needs Seeks out new clients and actively participates in full new business processu00a0 May participate in the development and adoption of new products, services, development of IP and thought leadership materials Requirements :Basic Qualificationsu00a0 At least 10 years of relevant experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fieldsu00a0 Must possess previous experience working in a communications or marketing agency, preferably in lifestyle, sports and/or entertainmentu00a0 Proven experience working with consumer tech, lifestyle brandsu00a0 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, deadline oriented environmentu00a0 Experience working on integrated agency, team modelu00a0 Impeccable client relationship skills and experience working with high touch clientsu00a0 Experience managing large programs from start to finish Preferred Qualificationsu00a0 Strong communication u2013 active listening, negotiation and persuasionu00a0 Confidence and conviction in presenting ideas and providing counsel to internal and external audiencesu00a0 Strong and consistent problem-solving and analytical skillsu00a0 Must have a collaborative approach to work with a proven track record of managing diverse teamsu00a0 Ability to manage competing interestsu00a0 High emotional intelligenceu00a0 Good judgment and ability to take risks Forward-thinkingu00a0 Learns and builds from experience Conversational in industry specialty areas and roles
