Job Description Job Summary: Sales Account Executive is an experienced, strategic, entrepreneurial, innovative and results driven media sales expert. Responsible for identifying and developing media sales to meet and exceed revenue goals and objectives Primary Activities and Responsibilities: Cultivate new business, top line revenue and profit via digital media sales for Refuels Youth division Prospect qualified leads and pursue new business by pitching clients and agencies in live meetings and via phone / screen share Develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner In-depth understanding of digital tactics, how to integrate those tactics into comprehensive campaigns Ability to analyze digital reporting provided by Ad Ops team and present reports to client Actively participate in pipeline reviews and discussions of sales strategy and tactics to win new business Maintains up-to-date awareness of company activities and industry trends Apply strategic input and help drive the growth of Refuels digital revenue and profit. Have existing contact / client list of prominent digital decision makers both at agencies and clients Research additional information on digital planners and buyers on your assigned account list Supply client with research, data and relevant marketing materials Complete client need analysis to ensure media proposals meet clients goals and objectives Participate in brain storming sessions with applicable internal stakeholders to achieve creative client solutions Internally cultivate relationships, remove barriers and participate in problem solving Perform other related work as required Qualifications: Bachelors degree or above from an accredited institution with concentration in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field or applicable job experience 3 to 4 years sales experience selling digital media, including digital display, mobile, social and email Knowledge and Skills: Strong self-starter and prospector who has the internal sales drive needed to compete and win in increasingly competitive digital media landscape Experience in selling and working with integrated digital media campaigns and understanding how various digital tactics affect various stages of the conversion funnel and how when integrated they work together for cohesive campaign Ability to understand differentiations and sell first party data versus programmatic Driven sales professional that can work independently in fast paced environment Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally Ability to compile and analyze market and financial data for effective decision making Ability to create demand for spending in targeted consumer segments, specific to the youth audience Ability to develop custom solutions tailored to client needs Ability to research, and understand the customer's perspective and their competitive options Agency and client relationships / contacts that are current and relevant to Refuels business Business related computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/salesforce.com Comprehensive knowledge of digital media and advertising industry Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals and plans Strong public speaking, oral and written communication skills Exceptional negotiation skills Job Requirements: Travel up to 25% The applicant selected for this position may be required to successfully complete a background check.
