We are looking for people who understand how to leverage the power of creative communications to drive business and social progress \u2013 and who are energized about opportunities to build campaigns that bring complex ideas to life, raise awareness, drive advocacy and have an impact. This role will be based at Weber Shandwick\u2019s office in New York. What You Will Be Doing \u2022Serving as day-to-day global account support including, but not limited to, managing media outreach and strategy, influencer engagement, research and content creation, to deliver strategic work on deadline.\u2022Strategic plan development for both traditional PR, content marketing, research, advocacy, paid media, and social media programs\u2022National, regional, and local media relations, both reactive and proactive\u2022Critical writing and general content development (draft plans, fact sheets, talking points, strategic recommendations, message architectures, etc.)\u2022Reviewing and editing of content to align with strategy and audience needs\u2022Strategic and tactical counsel to clients and global integrated team while managing implementation of multiple projects, timelines, and budgets\u2022Coordinating and contributing to global account measurement and analytics program\u2022Finance management support\u2022Actively participate in agency development and assist with new business\u2022Other responsibilities as assigned\u00a0 Qualifications What We Are Looking For \u2022A strong hands-on, rubber-meets-road type who can organize projects, collaborate with team members, and operate multi-faceted programs in a fast-paced environment\u2022Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal team members across multiple levels and markets\u2022Strong understanding of and experience in media relations\u2022Ability to contribute to research, strategic planning, development, and execution of integrated marketing programs\u2022Strong understanding of new PR tools, especially in the digital and social media realm\u2022Exceptional judgment and ability to think critically when working with team members, clients, and partners\u2022Extremely detail-oriented\u2022Strong time management skills with the demonstrated ability to prioritize across complex projects\u2022Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Basic Qualifications \u2022BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs, International Development or related field\u2022Minimum of 3-4 years of related communications experience required; agency experience preferredWeber Shandwick is an equal opportunity\/affirmative action employer.
