In addition, this individual will oversee all business communications for Vogue at Conde Nast. The Executive Director of Communications serves in a key leadership role at Vogue and reports to the Editor in Chief and Chief Communications Officer.u00a0 Primary Responsibilities In consultation with the Editor in Chief, devise a creative, integrated communications strategy, positioning Vogue as a leader in the marketplace. Provide big-picture thinking and leadership to continuously elevate the profile of the Vogue brandu2014and its executivesu2014through events, strategic partnerships, content initiatives, publicity, broadcast, social and digital exposure. Leverage a high-profile network of contacts in fashion, media, politics, technology, and entertainmentu00a0and seek new partnerships to achieve the brandu2019s strategic goals. Help grow and modernize the positioning of all Vogue franchises. Manage crisis communications. Partner with Chief Communications Officer in driving key sales and marketing messaging in support of business priorities and initiatives. Lead an efficient, collaborative team that regularly: Produces written communication materials, including press releases, statements, briefing materials for editors and executives, and talking points. Produces television segments, video and photo shoots. Manages all internal communications for the brand (staff newsletters, etc). Requirements: Experience managing digital and social-media to drive communication strategies and messaging. Ability to develop comprehensive PR plans to promote the business and drive consumer interest. Superior writing skills including writing press releases, statements, and talking points and speeches, as well as the ability to edit. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task under pressure.u00a0 Excellent media relations skills and experience managing press stories including tabloid reports. Deep knowledge of the media industry and its current trends Minimum 8 yearsu2019 experience in a senior strategic position.
