The Media Community Development team contributes directly to Facebook’s mission by connecting millions of media publishers and creators with their audiences at scale, helping them meet their objectives through solutions like Watch, Pages, Videos, Live and In Stream Ads. We succeed when we help our partners grow their content business. The Business Operations team is searching for an experienced Operations Manager to work with internal stakeholders to help execute, scale, and optimize our emerging and high-potential partner programs and solutions across video creators, digital publishers, sports and news. This individual will be responsible for working with a cross-functional team including program managers, partner management, marketing, analytics, product and operations to operationalize the strategy to support scaling Facebook video products with creators and other partner segments. Ideal candidates are organized thinkers who can break down complex problems, build solutions, deliver actionable and data-driven insights while working in a dynamic environment.

Required Skills:

Build and execute operational framework to implement day-to-day program strategy through business requirements gathering, milestone planning, development, launch, stabilization and growth

Support go-to-market planning for new programs, including the ability to communicate strategy and goals, perform quantitative analysis, implement technical solutions, and design new processes to optimize outcomes

Work cross-functionally to identify and execute plan and hold people accountable for deliverables without a formal reporting structure

Provide regular program updates to the entire organization and leadership to report performance, progress, and highlight any issues that need buy in with recommendations to move forward

Continue to identify and implement opportunities to improve operational excellence by developing and sharing best practices across the organization, utilizing metrics, and incorporating cross-functional feedback to drive the best solutions

Manage multiple concurrent projects and/or projects with multiple workstreams that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders

Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders inside and outside of Media Community Development by building influence while supporting the team

Capturing task level details to document all items and highlight dependencies in a task management system

Minimum Qualifications:

BA or BS Degree

7 years of experience in operations or program management role

Organized with experience identifying all process flow steps for execution

Experience working with technical and strategic teammates to design solutions

Demonstrated experience in problem solving, providing business insights and recommendations using data, and owning business requirements

Strategic, analytical and problem solving experience

Experience building relationships at all levels of an organization

Communication and presentation experience, and experience clarifying and summarizing issues

Experience working independently with minimum supervision, leading multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in growing scalable programs for Sales or Partnerships teams

Experience in the tech and media industry

PMP or similar certification
